You can
find your 'Sound Recorder' and 'Windows Media Player'
in Accessories
/ Entertainment on your computer's 'Programs' listing.
First,
just press 'Record' on your Sound Recorder or Media Player,
then,
play
"Showdown" while it's recording. . . it will then be recorded
into your computer.
Next,
save the file and you're all done!
If you
don't hear any sound, make sure your 'volume control' slider
is set to play 'wave' files
also
check your 'RECORDING volume control' to make
sure the 'wave' or 'mixed output' is selected
so your
Sound Recorder will 'record' the incoming sound waves of Showdown.
If the
Sound Recorder is 'hearing' the input, then, you should see the equalizer
on the slider
moving
upward with the music.
You can
access your 'volume controls' by going to Accessories / Entertainment /
Volume Control.
The "Volume
Control" dialog box appears.
To check
your "Recording" volumes, access your "Volume" Control dialog box,
click
on 'Options' at the top left of the Volume Control dialog box,
click
on 'Properties', then click 'recording' and then click 'OK'.
This
will open your "Recording Volume" dialog box and show
the various
volume sliders you can use.
